Quality, Local, Award Winning
Clive and Amie Bissland became owners of this historic pub in 2010, after two years of closure. They want to bring back the traditions of a real pub. A place you can come and enjoy a drink without feeling that you are imposing upon the diners. Just relax, enjoy time to chat amongst yourselves or with the regulars, catching up on the local gossip. Join the pub quiz for a night of fun and entertainment or relax by the fire on a winter's night. This is a pub for the locals and visitors alike: you are all welcome and we promise a real pub atmosphere, like it used to be.
